Growing up on a Montana cattle ranch, the wild beauty of rural landscapes always sparked my interest. As a photographer, I specialize in rural country scenes, wildlife and visual storytelling. From the boundless prairie to the rugged moods of the mountains, I try to capture the authentic images of the outdoors. My greatest interest has always been the land — and the way people and animals live and thrive in these last best places.

A journalism background led me into the world of photography. It is the role as parent, school teacher and connection to ranch life that shapes my fascination with telling a story of rural Montana. A

Our world is changing so quickly — just look at Montana. Big Sky Country as we know it is transforming into a new kind of frontier. The focus on my work is to stop and view a world of emotional moments.

I live in Billings, Montana with my wife Lisa and adult daughters Olivia and Lily.
